It feels like something is missing.

In real life...
No one has everything.
Either we have a lot of MONEY...
and not enough time.

(Constant travel causes relationships to suffer.)

Or we have a lot of TIME...
and not enough MONEY...

But the worst combination?

Too much time to self...

too little love for self.

United Kingdom

Female, 24

With that in mind...

Maybe you should begin to learn
how to create more peace of mind.

At least while you are waiting for
your time to catch up with your money.

Here are some ways that
we guarantee will work.
(if you apply them).

Keep your mind on the things in life that you have...
not on the things you don't have.
Keep your mind on the
things that you can do...

not on things that you cannot do.

Feel like your PRESENT environment has way too much hate--oppression & insecurity?
HUSTLE HARD
You must develop a legal hustle
to re-direct your negative energy.

Would you rather get even or get ahead?
Re-direct your mind from the
so-so present to the fantastic FUTURE.

Want peace of mind?

Your focus creates it.

Practice controlling
your thoughts...
don't let your thoughts control you.

Change my thinking huh?...ok teach me how.

"You know I stay fresh to death,
I brought it from the projects,
and I'm gonna take it to the top...
change clothes    jay z  feat pharrell

Ever notice how quick some people are to say things like
you ought to change your thinking!...
as if changing your thinking is  as easy as changing your clothes.

But when was the last time someone offered to help make it better?

Think math class will help?

Probably not huh?

How about science class?
Probably not huh?

Probably your principal will huh?
(How's that working?)

Meanwhile BiggaFiggaMedia
DOES help.

Did you know?

Like Jay Z & Beyonce
YOUR THOUGHTS &
YOUR ACTIONS ARE HOOKED UP.

At times they go their separate ways...
but they will come back together.
So where do most of your
thoughts come from?

Most of your thoughts come from what you focus your mind on.

For example,
suppose you were to go
to a family reunion.

Every where you look it's all smiles & hugs...
except for one place.

You step inside to find 2 people who are arguing.

While there you can focus on the smiles & hugs OR the arguing.
Focus your mind lens on the arguing...
and you may not enjoy your time there.

Later you might say,
Man...that was a terrible reunion.

Or you can focus the lens of
your mind on people having a great time.
Then for years you would have great memories of a great time.

The same reunion, the same family,
2 entirely different memories.
WHY?
Because of what you focused on.

Learning how to use your focus will help you take your PRESENT circumstances & create the life of your dreams.

Catch yourself in the act...

focusing all day on things you cannot control can leave you feeling frustrated, angry, depressed & all kinds of shizzle.

Focusing on what you can control leaves you feeling in control of
your destiny.

A closed circle?

Requirements to apply for job as US President:
35 years old, natural born citizen of US,
(*need to live in the US for at least 14 years)

Want to apply for a teaching position?
Additional Information about Completing an Application for New York State Certification

•You should enter a program code ONLY if you completed a Registered Approved Teacher Preparation Program at a New York State institution of higher education that leads to the specific certificate (title and type) for which you are now applying.

•Your college/university will recommend you ONLY for the specific certificate (title and type) associated with the program that you completed. Your college/university will have this information.

•If you have completed a Baccalaureate program leading to Provisional or Initial Certification, and a master's degree is required for Permanent or Professional Certification in the certificate title and type you seek, you cannot use the Baccalaureate program code for the Permanent or Professional certificate. Check the "No" box, answer the series of questions, and TEACH will determine the appropriate pathway for you.

•If you have earned a Master's degree but have not completed a Registered Approved Teacher Preparation Program at a New York State college/university leading to the issuance of the specific Permanent or Professional certificate (title and type) for which you are now applying, you must check the "No" box, answer the series of questions, and TEACH will determine the appropriate pathway for you.

If you also wish to apply for the Professional Childhood Education Grades 1-6 certificate, you must check the "No" box, answer the series of questions, and TEACH will determine the appropriate pathway for you.

When a school system hires a writer and gives them a big title like Curriculum Development Specialist, you may surprised at how little
real world writing experience even matters.

In fact, even inspiring writers such as Tyler Perry, Maya Angelou, Iyanla Vanzant,
Les Brown, Spike Lee, & Anthony Robbins wouldn't qualify for hire!

Why?

To get in with one school you must have history with another school.

Someone call Sherlock Holmes please!

Is that why no matter what changes...
that nothing changes?...

Right now all across this country,
Curriculum or course content development is a closed circle of hires.

And surprise, surprise the ability to write textbooks & other school materials in a way that Hispanic & African American children can relate to is not a priority.

Students, teachers, parents and businesses
are paying the price.

In BiggaFiggaMedia.com's opinion, one of the primary challenges urban parents face is breaking down "educator lingo" into a language which makes sense to them & their children.

HERE'S A GOOD (real world) EXAMPLE:

The Educational Model for Learning embeds the principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) in its foundational framework. Our team of highly-qualified teachers, instructional designers, and content-area experts prepares for and constructs unique course scopes and sequences by layering UDL principles with Quality Standards for Online Courses in accordance with the Southern Regional Education Board (SREB) and conducting research on state and national standards.

WHAT?

Compare that to BiggaFiggaMedia.com

We specialize in creating online learning materials which inspire urban youth to reach their full potential.

Right now folks we are David up against Goliath.

YOU ARE WHAT YOU READ.

Not a perfect man...but who is?

"I have this reputation of being a tough guy & growing up under tough circumstances. The last thing I want is my sons thinking they have to be that way"
   rapper Fat Joe

To those who like to see
only negative in rap music...

you need to remember,

there's GOOD in the worst of us...

and bad in the BEST of us.

Like a lot of other rappers
Joseph Antonio Cartagena doesn't
get the credit he deserves for his
work in self improvement.

In fact...
some don't want to believe that there is anything positive about rap music PERIOD.

Mainly because they cannot
relate to the life experiences.

This creates a one way focus
only on the negative.

Of course Fat Joe earned his tough guy reputation.
He grew up poor and some things
he is not proud of happened.

"Latinos before us had opportunity to do it just didn't know how to do it"

Not much has changed.

There are still no guaranteed
road maps to success.

You still have to go thru
Life University.

"I can buy a watch, they can take it. I can buy a car, I can crash it. But an education, they can't ever take that away from you"
Today Fat Joe has been know to talk up education at some Jersey City schools.

Today he is a strong backer of Voto Latino a program co-founded by Rosario Dawson.
What's really changed about Fat Joe is that he finds enjoyment in doing positive things today.

So hard...female succeeding in a male world

"Tougher than a lion...
brilliant, resilient,
fan mail from 27 million"
Rihanna   Hard lyrics

What helps a beautiful multitalented
female from another country to succeed
in the hard, male dominated world of American hip hop?

POSITIVE SELF TALK.

SELF TALK is your
inner communication.

It's what you say to
YOURSELF about YOURSELF.

Do you think Rihanna's song lyrics are a good example of how she talks to herself about herself?
If so she is one bad Barbadian!

TOUGHER THAN A LION
BRILLIANT
RESILIENT
How many other ladies...
superstars or not...
use SELF TALK talk like that
to describe themselves?

And don't let her job as an ENTERTAINER fool you...
           SHE IS A LADY.
A lady from another country suceeding in the hard, male dominated world of American hip hop.

Would you go to work in construction
dressed in high heels?
NOPE.

So don't expect to see Rihanna show up on her job dressed like a nun anytime soon.
LIVE YOUR LIFE

The purpose of this article is
to introduce you to self talk.

Self talk is what you say to YOURSELF about YOURSELF.
Other people can't hear it...
                                      Rihanna as a child
but we can see the results of it.

Go ahead...laugh if you want to.

Breaking news...
It seems that laughing
makes you smarter!

In fact...
after a good laugh
your brain thinks better
and you can become more CREATIVE.

But you'd better be careful.

Ever  fall down because
you were laughing so hard?

Some people can laugh so hard
that their knees can get weak.

That's because laughing real hard sends a signal to your BRAIN which affects your leg muscles.
(Who knew...science & comedy connect!)
Most babies start to smile
at around six weeks old.

 Most kids start making jokes
when they are around six years old.
Here's today's winning strategy.

In your quest for success don't forget to laugh hard when you have the chance.

Laughing drives away fear, hurt, anger, frustration, disappointment & guilt.

Stop dreaming...do what Lopez says

"You know what I tell kids, all kids?
FORGET ABOUT DREAMING,
INSTEAD SET GOALS.
Dreams are:
I want to go to the moon.
It may not happen.
But if you say I want to grow
up and be a comedian,

or I want to grow up and be a doctor or I want to be the first one to graduate from high school in my family,

which I was, all that is possible
and race has no deterrent in that,
in the outcome"
                   George Lopez

Words of inspiration from
a PROVEN WINNER.

George Lopez knows a
lot about what it takes
to overcome tough times on
the road to success.

You should feel confident that you can  overcome tough times by using your imagination and goal setting.
